Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)
(Hong Kong, China)
Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is a major air facility and as such, provides a wealth of parking spaces at various locations around the complex.
In total there are four large parking areas at the airport and they are all situated close to the airport's two main terminal buildings, North Satellite and Midfield Concourse.
Short-term car parking is available at the Hong Kong's airport and short-stay parking for periods of less than 30 minutes is free. The short-stay car park is particularly convenient for drop-offs and quick pick-ups. If the car is parked for longer than 30 minutes, a parking fee is charged from arrival. Short-term car parking is available at the Car Park 1, 2 and 4. Car Park 3 is also sometimes used as an overflow short-term parking area.
Long-term car parking is available at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) and is located in two car parking areas close to the airport. Car Park 1 is an open-air parking area and Car Park 4 is part of the large, multi-storey parking complex. Parking fees are levied depending upon the long-term parking period.
The airport permits passengers and their luggage to by dropped off outside of the main passenger terminal. This area is known as the 'departures kerb' and is strictly for departures only and not for collecting passengers at the airport.
Spaces are reserved for disabled passengers with the relevant parking permits in all of HKG Airport's car parking areas. These are always easily accessible.
